User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8 GB MP3 Player (Silver)
Good MP3 Player. Great value for the money. The seller was no problem.

The only problem I found with the equipment is that it does not have the feature to program a schedule recording of radio like other MP3 players. Fore example record FM radio from 6:30 to 7:00 Monday to Friday.

Other problems are not with the equipment but with Raphsody that sometimes generate problems transfering to the external memory card.

4 Stars Great device!
A lot of function for the money spent. Easy to set up and use. Read reviews before ordering (screen easily scratced) so I modified the shipping protector to protect the screen. Added attachments also great (cover, armband, charger). Minimum volume level is too high for me in quiet room.

5 Stars Great machine
This is for my wife who uses it for exercising. I have tried many machines and none have done the job of being easy to use, holding lots and being easy to load (my job). I tried a ipod nano 4th gen and returned it to wal-mart in 45 minutes… completely non-intuitive. This Sansa does it all and with 8 gig holds over 1200 songs easy. Finally, I think she will be happy with this mp3 player! And it is drag and drop, what a joy.

5 Stars Everything I wanted in a player
Th 8bg Fuze is a home run. Since I’ve purchased it, it’s come down in price so the deal is even sweeter.

It sounds great, looks great, and it gets along with my computer. The capacity is fantastic and it’s expandable with a MicroSD card.

I’ve never had an issue with battery life. I can charge it as I sit here and type on my PC.

The unexpected bonus is that this little device is great for sharing photos. My coworkers always bug me about not carrying pictures of my children in my wallet. Now I just show them this while playing a slide show of dozens of pics.

The only problems I have are the stock earbuds (I already lost the felt cover) and the fact that I can’t play podcasts in my order. I just put my podcasts in another folder to get them to play in order from oldest to newest (hat tip, O.T. Holland). The more laborious way is to edit the metadata through Windows Explorer. It’s time consuming and not as slick.

I haven’t explored the use of a MicroSD card yet, but it looks like 2GB is pretty inexpensive (like 6 bucks!!).

1 Star Get an IPOD or Zune, don’t waste your cash on this.
All I can say is get an IPOD or a ZUNE as they are the most reliable/durable units on the market for portable music. I own both (IPOD 5.5 gen 30gb, IPOD classic 80 gb and Zune 120gb). This Sensa unit is terrible, the controls are unresponcive, horrid ffd and rewind functionality, when you copy alot of songs at one time (my collection is over 14000 mp3’s) it crashes or loses files and when it boots up afterwards the songs it said were copied are gone. Nothing but a cheap headache. The battary life for a mare 8gb player is nothing to brag about either, and good luck charging it for that matter. You can plug it in all night and when you turn it on the next day it may sometimes last 5 seconds and tell you too charge it, esspessially if you have 5-8 gb space used. This thing is garbage. All the same problems as the Sandisk I bought 3 years ago just in a new skin with new added technical problems, classic Sandisk horrid software and to top it off a worse less responcive click wheel.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Dead On Arrival
OLED was not functioning so I immediately returned it to Amazon. Saw the same Sansa Clip later at WalMart for $5 less than Amazon and bought it because it would be easier to return if it did not work. This one works fine.

5 Stars Nice lil thing
Its not the fanciest, but it does all that a MP3 player should. Its really small so you may lose it but besides that, its really nice. Very well built, aesthetic and functional.

4 Stars MP3 Player
This is a good MP3 player for the money. Very light weight and convenient, the clip is great when your walking or running. Also the songs download easily and nice that it has an built in FM radio with presets.

4 Stars Almost Perfect!
I absolutely love everything about this product. The only thing I have had problems with is the clip that slides into a metal piece on the back of the player. Sometimes it comes off and I am afraid I am going to lose the clip, which is the biggest reason I bought the MP3 Player.

5 Stars SanDisk Sansa Clip is great
I purchased the SanDisk Sansa Clip 1 GB mp3 player recently and have really enjoyed it. It is soooo tiny but has very easy to use controls and a vivid easy to read screen. I use it exclusively to download free audiobooks from my local library and listen to the audiobooks as I do my daily exercise routine. It easily holds 6 or 7 entire audiobooks and automatically begins the story just where I left off the day before.

I do not enjoy listening with the included earbuds so I use full size headphones and they work just fine with this Sansa Clip mp3 player.

It automatically charges its battery every time I’m hooked to the computer’s USB port and this is also how the audiobooks are downloaded.

All in all, its a great player at a low price.

SanDisk Sansa c250 2 GB MP3 Player Black

The Sansa c200 Series MP3 players are the latest in SanDisk’s audio line. Created by the leaders in flash memory, this flash-based player provides everything you need to play music, enjoy photos, and FM radio – in vibrant color!

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Player is not recognized by Vista or XP but …..
I just received my 2GB Sansa c200 yesterday and I was very excited to try it out but when I plugged it into my laptop computer … that’s when the fun started!!!

First off, my computer saw it immediately as an MTP device, and in the device manager it put it under Portable devices with MTP as one of the labels. However, it wouldn’t work! I couldn’t locate it in My Computer, nor did any of my music synching programs work. In Device Manager it showed the device with the yellow exclamation mark. I checked the properties and it gave me a Code 1 error, device not configured correctly.

I worked with it for a good couple of hours trying to determine why my XP Pro wouldn’t install it properly. Finally I did the following steps and it worked immediately!! (If you are using Vista, try to figure out how to adapt the following instructions. They are pretty similar).

0. Plug the Sansa Express into a USB 2.0 slot

1. Open the start menu and right click on My Computer

2. Click on properties

3. Locate and click on the “Hardware” Tab of the system properties window that pops up

4. Find the button that says “Device Manager”

5. When you do this, another window will pop up with a list of all of the hardware installed inside of your computer, you should see the Sansa Express somewhere in this list with the yellow exclamation mark.

6. Right-Click on the Sansa Express and click on “Update Driver”

7. When the next window opens up, instead of allowing it to search automatically, click on “Install from a list or a specific location (Advanced)” and click next

8. On the next window, click on the last option “Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install” and click next

9. When I did this, it had two options listed. MTP Device and USB Mass Storage Device. If you see these options highlight the USB Mass Storage Device and click next. It should install Immediately!!

I sincerely hope this helps anyone, I searched and searched on line for an answer, and I couldn’t come up with anything. I fiddled around with it for a long time. Thank god I got it to work! Good Luck everyone!!

1 Star HOLD ON
I had my c250 maybe a month before dropping it from less then 1 foot. This broke the connector loose on the board that connects to the 3.5mm jack disabling sound through one of my ear buds. This is apparently a VERY common problem with this mp3 player. Avoid this poorly built product spend a little more get a solid product.

2 Stars Ok for the price
I was highly disappointed with this Sansa MP3 player, although I have owned other models and been happy with those. On the Sandisk Sansa C250, the buttons are frustratingly difficult to push, especially the play, fast forward and rewind buttons.

The positives include the MicroSD expansion slot and the battery, which holds an extraordinarily long charge, as well as the built-in FM tuner. I actually bought it with the intent of using the device as an extra data drive if I didn’t like the player, so it’s not a total waste of money if you buy this and then decide you don’t like it.

I would have to say that for the price, this little guy packs a good wallop, but I wouldn’t buy it for a child with small hands or an older person as their first-ever MP3 player, because the buttons are just too much of a hassle to use easily and intuitively.

4 Stars A very good buy of an enjoyable player.
I have greatly enjoyed using this player and have found it very adequate for bringing the joy of portable music to a 70 year old man!

2 Stars Good but only for awhile
Overall it is a nice mp3 player, however, it only lasted 6 months. I lost sound from one of the headphones, and then no sound at all. I read that lots of people are having problems with the headphone jack, so I opened the thing up and there it was, the jack had detached. I tried soldering but it didn’t work. I guess I’ll just use it as a voice recorder.

5 Stars Works great
I don’t know how they can sell these chargers at such a low price and still make money. I was wary based on the low price, but the chargers work just fine.

One issue, though, is that I received two AC (wall) chargers and no car charger. I contacted the vendor, whose response seemed confused to me, and they promptly sent a replacement, which turned out to be a third wall charger. I ultimately emailed them both the product descriptions and the posted pictures before they sent still another replacement unit, and this time they finally sent the car charger. Their postage cost probably exceeded the cost of the items!

1 Star bargaincell sucks
order from another vendor. aside from inferior products, bargaincell took almost a full week to merely put my order in the mail.

4 Stars The Chargers Work Great
Ordered this product for my sister and she loves it. The only issue that I had was that the wall charger takes up two plugs on certain power stips.

5 Stars Great value!
This is an awesome product. It works in the car or plugged into the wall outlet. The order came in on time. The chargers seem to be kind of cheap, but they work great and you cant beat that price.

5 Stars Both Work great with my Sansa e200 series
Both Work great with my Sansa e200 series. IT WORKS PERFECT AND CHEAP. It cannot get any better than that

SanDisk Sansa Clip 2 GB MP3 Player Red

Don’t let the size fool you – this little media player packs a big punch! The colorful Sansa Clip 2 GB MP3 player boasts an array of cool features, as well as distinctively big sound for its small size. Perfect for the fitness buff or traveler, the compact Sansa Clip comes with a fashionable clip for wearing, FM radio with recorder, microphone, long-lasting rechargeable battery and a bright screen for exceptionally easy navigation of tunes. User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Sansa Clip is a great deal.
I love my Sansa Clip. I got it to listen to audio books and it’s great for that. The 2GB memory holds several books at once and the rechargable battery is a big plus.

5 Stars Great performance in a small package
Great MP3 player if you are looking for a player that is very small and easy to use. Great for working out and travel. While the player doesn’t have all of the “bells and whistles” that some of the other players have with video capabilities and such, I am really impressed with how easy it is to transfer songs to this player and portable it is.

2 Stars Excellent little player until…
For the first couple of months after I purchased the Sansa Clip, I really liked it. After a few months, it started to get buggy (would pause/lock up when in “hold” mode”. Updating firmware did not help. Eventually, it stopped working all together. Am attempting to return for replacement under warranty.

5 Stars Great Product but Difficult Instructions
The Sansa clip is a great product. The sound quality is superb and it holds lots of music. My only concern was the instructions, especially for someone not very tech. saavy like me. I finally figured out that what I needed was a download from the company website, and now my Sansa works perfectly.

5 Stars Perfect for podcasts
I wanted an MP3 player so that I could listen to podcasts. In general, MP3 players aren’t geared to podcasts as there is no “pause” feature. If you’re interrupted, you have to go back and search for where you left off. Very annoying. Enter SanDisk and the Sansa Clip. It’s tiny, so I can carry it anywhere and it has a “resume” button. PERFECT. Additionally, the sound quality is excellent and the ear buds are comfortable enough, although I still prefer small head phones. I own other SanDisk products and I’m totally sold on the brand. The quality is always good.
