User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Lighter, smaller than my previous Epson, and wider lens too
I have an Epson 7350 which I paid nearly $3000. for about 6 years ago and is twice the size and weight, and 6 times the cost, of the 77c I bought recently. The 7350 has a higher native resolution than the specs on the 77c, but side by side I could not tell the difference when the 77c was up-rezzing a notch or two. The 77c has a “wider throw” (zoom) lens than my previous projector, which means you can place it closer to the screen at a given size. Generally this means fewer problems with having to put the projector farther out in the audience where cables/cords can get in the way. It is plenty bright on the “low” setting even in a room with some lights on, and the “high” setting is available when needed (there’s more fan noise on “high” but not too bad). Highly recommended, bright, small, reasonably priced technology. You may find a lower price somewhere else though.

5 Stars Excellent quality Epson Multimedia Projector
This projector is lightweight, very user friendly, and makes doing presentations easy. The directions are very easy to understand when you first open the package. With 2200 Lumens the picture is very sharp and large and easily adjusted to any background. I highly recommend this projector for the price and its quality. The only thing that I recommend is that you purchase longer cords for in large classrooms as the cords that come with the projector may not be the proper length for your particular circumstances.

5 Stars Very nice for the price
Awesome projector for those on a tight budget. This projector upscales to 1080i and looks great at that resolution. The 2200 lumens are bright enough to see what’s on the screen with the lights on. Great color. I’m completely happy with the product.

5 Stars Great Product
I took this product out of the box and connected it to my laptop and started my presentation. Great product, great picture, easy to use, fast start up, no cool down time and very quiet.

5 Stars Wonderful Projector
It is an excellent product for the price. A worthwhile purchases

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Great picture, loud fan
I bought this projector because Consumer Reports rated it in the top 5 models that they tested. It was also considered one of their best buys. I got it home and set it up. Immediately I noticed that the fan was very noisy. Once you are watching a movie with the surround sound going, you almost don’t notice it until you come to a quiet scene. Also, we had to replace the first bulb within 4 months of owning the system. I would recommend getting the Sony VPL over this any time.

5 Stars A great projector
I built my Home Theater Room over a year ago, and did a lot of research and settled on this projector. If I could do it all over again, I would again pick this same projector. After a year of steady use (an hour a day, average) the projector is as bright, clear and as fresh from the box. At 2 to 3 thousand hour bulb life, this projector is going to last another 5 to 6 years. Over the past year I did buy (and returned) some HDMI cables, and an upconvert DVD player and saw no noticeble difference in picture quality over the radio shack component video cables. You don’t need an expensive screen, so run your cables in the wall, under the carpet, or thru cable hides and your projector will seem to operate by magic, out of the way, overhead, and silently.

5 Stars best projector regardless of price
It cost me 1800.00. Picture is movie theater quality. Color and contrast (black/whites) is better than any projector even ones with higher specs. I use the bare wall for screen and its not even completely white wall. 100 inch wide screen and its better pic than most flat panel TVs. Make sure u connect using HDMI cable for best result. But composite connection is good too. Check this review http://www.projectorcentral.com/mitsubishi_hc3000.htm

5 Stars Mitsubmishi HC3000U High Definition Home Theater Projector
Just a few short words – This product is phenomenal! It exceeded our expectations!

5 Stars Excellent, Great quality picture, Easy to use
I bought this product after researching all over the net. It is one of the best product on this price range. It is very easy to install and operate. I love it and will highly recommend for anyone who wants a projector. If you limit its use only to watch movie rather than regular TV programs, the lamp will last longer.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Awesome for the price!
I looked at just about every projector possible for a budgeted home theater room in my home and this one is what I settled on. It has been very good. It is incredibly easy to set up and user friendly. Very lightweight too. I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting an inexpensive solution to either a home theater projector or a business presentation projector.

5 Stars Best value for your dollar.
This product meets and exceeds the value verses cost equation. The projector delivers everything you would expect from a far more expensive product. If you are looking for value in a projector you need look no further. We use the projector in home, office, and church applications. Screens are also available throught Amazon at a great value. The multitude of functions provided by the projector make it hard to decide on the right size screen that will meet our needs. Great product would recommend it to anyone.

5 Stars Great projector!
The projector was reasonably priced and works great. The projection is clear and bright. It is perfect for the power point presentations in my classroom.

5 Stars Excellent product
Nice image view, it looks bright colored and its very simple to use. The remote control becomes a very useful tool.

4 Stars Good for teachers
I think this was a good investment. The replacement parts aren’t as expensive as other models. It works fine and is convenient to transport to and from work. The picture quality is good. Overall I have no complaints.
