User Ratings and Reviews

2 Stars Service good, Product bad
The 4 gb SD card does not work good I can not get the pictures off of it.

My computer does not read the card, can not format it.

I tried other PCs with no success. Now I am having trouble returning the card.

5 Stars Great product a price. Excellent
This is great product for a price. I have paid around $10 for 4GB and this is class 6 HC better and faster then normal SD card.

1 Star Price is right – shipping is wrong
I just ordered this item and neglected to double check the shipping. I wanted four at this price and seemed like a pretty good deal at $10.60, but the shipping and handling turned out to be $21.99! I will go to a bricks and mortar store before I pay that.

Ordered canceled.

5 Stars 4GB SDHC
this is one of the best HC cards on the market works flawlessly in my camera and my PDA and the transfer rates are impressive.

5 Stars Roomy SD
My new camera called for a 2GB card. While looking for one, I came across this 4GB card and decided to order it instead. It has plenty of space for videos and loads of pictures. I am very satisfied with it.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars This is Great!
I needed some more room and protection for my pictures. I have downloaded all of mine, my wifes, all my children (I have 6 )and the rest of my family’s pictures on my hard drive and have been afraid of something happening to the computer and loosing everything. It was a simple to transfer all the pictures on to the Iomega drive and now I can relax. It cleaned up about half of my hard drive and my computer seems to run faster also. Thanks Ed French Quinlan TX

5 Stars Great Value
I plugged it into the USB port on my laptop and it was ready to go. My primary use is to consolidate and backup data from multiple computers and this has plenty of room for music and photos.

This is an excellent value considering I just paid $75 for a 16gig scan disk. It is well built and doesn’t have a very large desktop footprint.

This drive is a little to large to lug around every day so I wouldn’t consider it portable, but other drives fill that role.

5 Stars FINALLY…LUV IT !
I’ve been searching for the best desktop hard drive storage for my iMac, until finally I’ve found iomega 1 TB, easy to install, small & light, beautiful dark silver colour which is match my computer the best,…I can say it’s the best design I’ve ever found so far, works perfect with MAC OS, and Amazon.com make it even more possible with the best price, this is all that I needed from a hard drive ! not to mention how much photos, musics, movies that I can keep…so far, I LUV it !

5 Stars Excellent Hard Drive
As the past reviewer stated I was worried about buying another iomega product from suffering the “click” of death years ago from there zip drives. I have had tons of problems with Western Digital externals. They always seem to fail after like 6months. Hopefully this isn’t the case with the iomega. I have owned this one for about 1 month have 300gb of HD movies on it. Works like a champ. I would recommend this product looking for 1 TB and small good looking well made hard drive; the drive is all metal accept the stand and the vents on either side.

5 Stars Cheap, small, huge storage!
I stopped using Iomega products several years ago (remember the infamous “click of death” infesting Iomega Zip drives?) But after reading the Amazon reviews, I decided to get the Iomega 1TB drive.

It is about half the size of my old 350 MB Maxtor hard drives, costs half as much, and has three times the storage capacity! I plugged it in and Windows XP had it up and running in seconds, no fuss.

As a test, I transferred two gigs of photos (I’m a photojournalist) and it backed up two gigs in two minutes. It is almost perfectly silent.

I didn’t bother downloading the free Retrospect Backup software; I always back up manually as part of my business routine.

If I ever have a problem with this drive, I’ll update this review. Otherwise, I rate it as a perfect high-capacity drive, period.

With eight amazing colors, a new curved design, and great new features, iPod nano rocks like never before. The Genius Playlist feature finds the songs in your music library that go great together and makes a playlist for you. With its built-in accelerometer, iPod nano is made to move. Give it a shake, and it shuffles to a different song in your library. Turn it on its side to flip through your album art in Cover Flow. And tilt, move, and play accelerometer-inspired games (games available separately). Watching movies, TV shows, and video is even more fun on the sharp 2-inch screen. And your photos (up to 7,000 of them) look great in portrait or landscape view. Available in 8 GB and 16 GB models, the 8 GB iPod nano puts up to 2,000 songs or 8 hours of video in your pocket.

A Musical Genius
Say you’re listening to a song you really like and want to hear other tracks that go great with it. The Genius Playlist feature finds the songs in your music library that go great together and makes a Genius Playlist for you. It’s like having your own highly intelligent, personal DJ.

Find Your Music Faster
It’s even easier to find the song you want to hear. Now you can view your album art in Cover Flow. Or just press and hold the Center button to browse by album or artist. When you find the right song, press the Center button to add it to your on-the-go playlist.

Rock and Roll Over
Tilt or turn iPod nano on its side, and you’ll listen, watch, and play in new ways. You can flip through your album art with Cover Flow. Or, vertically speaking, see more albums and artists on the screen at one time.

Shake Your Groove Thing
Sometimes, we could all use a little unpredictability. And now you can shake to change your music. Just give iPod nano a shake, and it shuffles to a different song in your music library. You’ll always be surprised by what you’ll hear.

Let the Games Begin
Now you can get in on games made especially for iPod nano and the accelerometer. They respond to the way you move, so they’re immersive, addictive, and a blast. The iPod nano comes with Maze, which lets you work your way through vast mazes by tilting and moving. You can find even more games on the iTunes Store.

Even Your Photos Rock
Pull hundreds of photos from your pocket and share them wherever you go. Hold iPod nano upright and see your photos in portrait view. Turn the player on its side to see them in landscape. Your photos look beautiful in their proper aspect ratio on the vibrant, 320-by-240-resolution display.

The World’s Biggest Small Screen
Watching movies, TV shows, and videos is big fun on iPod nano. And the high-resolution picture looks crisp and vivid on the 2-inch widescreen display. So you can always have a little video with you.

Reduced Environmental Impact
The iPod nano embodies Apple’s continuing environmental progress. It is designed with the following features to reduce environmental impact:

  • Arsenic-free glass
  • Brominated flame retardant-free
  • Mercury-free
  • PVC-free
  • Highly recyclable aluminum enclosure

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars So far, Excellent!
Very excited when this came in the mail. I’ve had it for about two weeks now and I love it. Sound quality is great, and battery lasts a while too. The battery does drain somewhat quickly though when you are watching movies or playing games on it. Also, very sturdy. The only thing I recommend doing is getting a case at the same time as the nano. The screen is very sensitive to smudges and the like.

Again, overall: excellent.

5 Stars Great Features
So far I haven’t got any problem with this iPod nano, looks great and works great!

5 Stars IPOD
I love it! It is so much better than my old one. I like all the new features and it is easy to use!

1 Star Unhappy camper
In October of 2008 the Apple Company introduced yet another iPod into their ever expanding family. This one is sthe fourth generation Nano. That’s right folks, it is the fourth generation, which is a polite way of saying design, of an already established iPod music player. Why does the Apple Company feel that they needed to make a new Nano when, in fact, there are already three generations still out there?

The newest iPod has many new features. A new feature called “Genius” has been added. This is actually a pretty cool development. The Genius sifts through your music library and finds music that would go great with music that you are already listening too to form a new playlist. Another cool feature is that it allows for you to not only play games but feel like you are a part of the game. The games responds to your movements.

Coupled with these cool advances are some very arbitrary ones. Does it really matter that the newest Nano comes in nine different colors? Yes, it is cute, but the color doesn’t stop the actual iPod from skipping or improve things that are wrong with it. Another feature on the Nano is that it allows you to view and go through your album artwork by pressing the center button. This seems interesting but how does this help you find the song you are looking for better than just going to the main menu? Also, this new iPod has a curved screen which is suppose to prevent scratches. The round screen invites glare; sound quality is only average.

Is it necessary for the Apple Company to come out with a new “generation” Nano iPod every year? The answer to that is no. If Apple could just make the Nano the correct way in the beginning they would not have to keep altering it each year and feeding it to the public as “new” and “innovative”. In a culture that has become dependent on the latest technological advances Apple is merely feeding their infatuation. Obsession has overcome even the most moral of people. For example, a close friend of mine who does not buy into the need to run out and buy the latest new technology consistently buys the new generation Nanos. In the end she is never happy with her purchase.

The first generation Nano was priced at $199, the second generation was $199, the third generation, which cam out 11 months prior to the newest fourth generation, was $199. If you are similar to my friend, you also dished out $149. The total comes out to over $746 for pretty much the same item. A Nano iPod. On the other hand, I have had the same iPod classic since 2005 with no problems. This set me back $249 and it holds 30 GBs worth of information.

Now each year when the newest one comes out and it seems like a great deal to buy an iPod for less than $200, you can see that it is not.

1 Star NO PRODUCT….NO REVIEW
I’d love to review this product, IF I HAD IT!!!!! The product hasn’t come and I’ve heard nothing from either you or the seller!

User Ratings and Reviews

2 Stars Wrong size of plugin
Ordered this for use with a PC but the plugin was wrong (meant for a standard phone jack).

5 Stars Great Headset for cordless phone
This is a great headset at a super price, since at Radio Shack, a favorite store of mine, a similar one was $30. I bought four to have extra ones around the house, since it is such a good product.

2 Stars Didn’t have a chance
Amazon free shipping program is so poor I actually never received the product. Therefore I didn’t have a chance to use it.

3 Stars Might be a great product…
…but I wouldn’t know for sure. The Panasonic phone I ordered with the headset doesn’t provide a jack for a headset.

5 Stars A great product
This headset replaced an existing headset of a different brand which worked fine. This headset is much more sensitive in receiving and I’m able to reduce the volume and still hear quite adequately.
